VILLA made it six wins from six in all competitions after coming from two goals behind to beat Brighton 4-3 on the south coast.

- By JOHN TOWNLEY

Ollie Watkins scored twice to restore parity in the first half, before Amadou Onana turned the game on its head on the hour mark and Donyell Malen added a fourth.

Villa were able to see the game out after Jan Paul van Hecke threatened to stage a comeback, scoring their third in the 83rd minute.

Unai Emery’s side have now taken 24 points from the last 27 available in the Premier League, winning 12 of their last 14 matches in all competitions.

They've also won the joint-most away points in the league since the start of March, collecting 23 points which is the same as Arsenal, winning seven in 13 such games.

Brighton opened the scoring through Jan Paul van Hecke, who bundled the ball into the net after Marco Bizot failed to deal with Ferdi Kadıoglu’s corner.

It was a dubious decision by Andrew Madley to award Brighton a corner in the first place, as Matty Cash’s header appeared to glance off Maxim De Cuyper.
