HEAD CRITICISES 'CELEBRATING FAILURE'
A MIDLAND headteacher has hit out at Jeremy Clarkson's A-level quip on results day - branding him guilty of “inverted snobbery”.
The television personality bragged about his success despite bombing his exams.
As countless students discovered their A-level grades last Thursday, Clarkson, 65, posted on social media: “If your A-level results are disappointing, don’t worry.
“I got a C and two Us and here I am today, installing lights for a helicopter landing pad in my garden.”
His remarks triggered angery from headteacher Neil Morris, who branded him guilty of “inverted snobbery”.
