Cadbury wraps up sustainability with new packaging
Birmingham Mail
|May 19, 2025
CADBURY is making strides in sustainability by shifting to 80% certified recycled plastic for its chocolate bar wrappings.
-
This initiative is a significant step forward for the Birmingham confectionery giant.
The company will use the new packaging on over 300 million chocolate bars annually, enough to cover the entire UK more than 40 times over, preventing about 600 tonnes of plastic waste.
Customers across the UK and Ireland can already find products with the updated packaging, and Cadbury aims to extend this to all items by the end of the year.
