BELLS RING OUT FOR TALENTED GEORGE!

A BIRMINGHAM youngster is showing why bell ringing is far from a dying art - at just eight years old.

George Bull pulls the bells at one of Birmingham's best known churches and his passion is causing a stir in the bell ringing community.

While most children his age are scrolling Tik Tok, the primary school student helps chime the ten bells at St Mary's Church in Moseley and says he “loves it”.

George is thought to be the youngest bell ringer in Birmingham and stands on a box to reach for the ropes in the bell tower.

“He has caused quite a stir as he is just eight years old,” said Deborah Chard, of St Mary's Church, in Moseley.

St Mary's Church is a jewel in the heart of Moseley, containing ten bells, which are rung each Sunday morning.
