TOP Albion prospect Harry Whitwell says he is loving his loan spell with Robbie Savage at Forest Green Rovers as he carves out his promising career.

- By DAN NEWBOULD

The silky midfielder, aged 19, was voted player of the month for them for October after he started five of their seven games.

Whitwell has been a mainstay in the team and clocked up 450 minutes in the middle of the park that month, with notable displays against Worthing, in which he scored, and Luton in the FA Cup, when they came from three down only to lose 4-3 - a game in which he won a penalty.

He said: "I am loving it here. We are in communication with the loans manager a lot but nothing like that (being called back) has been talked about. I am just happy to be here.
