Albion stars have just not shone this season admits Jed

WEST Brom captain Jed Wallace says the season has not been good enough for the standard of player they have and the level of club they play for.

Wallace, who admittedly has been out for a period with injury, was speaking after his side’s goalless draw with bottom side Cardiff City at the weekend which leaves Albion in 10th and with no hope of reaching the top six like they did last season.

Assessing the season, he said: “It’s been massively disappointing. I think someone said that’s our first clean sheet since Oxford at home. It tells its own story, I think. Take the first five games out of the season, probably our points per game average has been really average.
