LOCALS in south Birmingham are hoping for a major boost as trains are set to return for the first time in 80 years.
New train stations are set to open in Moseley, Kings Heath and Stirchley (Pineapple Road) after years of delays.
Construction work on the Camp Hill line has been completed and testing is being carried out on site.
While an exact opening date has yet to be set, traders and residents in Moseley said they were looking forward to the new hub providing a major boost for the area.
