Success for club's rising stars

Baskervilles School of Gymnastics held their biannual Rising Stars competition last month.

Thirteen gymnastics clubs attended the event at the centre on Englishcombe Court, with gymnasts ranging in age from 5-18. There were medals to be won on each individual apparatus and in the overall category, as well as ribbons given to fourth, fifth and sixth-place overall.
Boys’ and the intermediate girls’ competitions took place on Saturday, May 17, where over 208 gymnasts performed across four different apparatus - floor, vault, trampette and bar (boys only). They gymnasts competed in 20 different categories, based on their age and training hours.
Gymnasts from Baskervilles’ intermediate and advanced boys’ pathways competed in the event, with some notable performances from Ambrose joy, Ashley Bray, Conrad Else, Teddie Priestley, Tyler Ridgway and Senna Magara-Wilikey who all won their overall categories.
