Ratchanok Intanon stormed past Mia Blichfeldt to reach the quarterfinals of the season-opening BWF Malaysia Open 2026 in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Ratchanok Intanon will play Chen Yufei in the quarter-finals.

The Thai seventh seed Ratchanok put on a dominant performance, taking just 30 minutes to defeat Denmark’s Blichfeldt 21-8, 21-7 to progress to the last eight of the US$1,450,000 (approx 46,400,000 baht) Super 1000 event.
