PT calls for new drafting assembly

The opposition Pheu Thai Party (PT) has unveiled its proposed constitutional amendment seeking to change the way members of a new constitution drafting assembly (CDA) are selected.
The draft calls for a 140-member body, with most members elected from the provinces and the rest selected in parliament from among professionals and experts.
