Party ‘not political scaffolding’: leader

People’s Party leader, Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, yesterday rejected reports which claimed his party had become “political scaffolding” for the Bhumjaithai Party, amid criticism about the agreement struck by the two parties that paved the way for Anutin Charnvirakul to assume the premiership.

Mr Natthaphong yesterday said he understood why some critics are concerned about the party aligning itself with Bhumjaithai following the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MoA) that prohibits Bhumjaithai from forming a majority government and mandates the dissolution of the House within four months.
