Forum hears vision for better future

The “Three Zero Theory” is a path for the younger generation to a sustainable new civilisation, said Professor Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Laureate economist and chief adviser to the government of Bangladesh.

Prof Yunus was giving a keynote speech at the “1st Bimstec Young Gen Forum: Where the Future Meets” hosted on Thursday in Bangkok by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with TNN World, where he laid out his bold vision for a new civilisation rooted in sustainability and inclusivity.

At the forum, spearheaded by Thailand as this year’s Bimstec chair, Prof Yunus called on budding entrepreneurs across the Bimstec region to abandon outdated frameworks in favour of new paradigms for growth.
