Maduro says 324 citizens sent by US to El Salvador

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Saturday that 324 Venezuelans have been sent to his prison in El Salvador on a higher alert than previously given an official list.

Washington has not provided a reason for the US to use Venezuelan citizens to fly to El Salvador, on March 16, without the migrants being afforded any kind of court hearing.
El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele said 238 Venezuelans were sent to his country after the United States accused them of gang involvement.
