Cool season to be 'later, warmer'

This year's cool season will begin about two weeks later than usual and be slightly warmer than average, the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) said yesterday.

According to the department's cool season outlook, the average minimum temperature in upper Thailand will hover around 21 degrees Celsius - slightly warmer than the historical average of 19.9C and last year's average of 20.7C.
