Bangkok set to transform into an open-air museum for 'Krung Thep Creative Streets'

Bangkok will be transformed into a vibrant open-air museum during “Krung Thep Creative Streets’, which will take place from Sept 15-21.

Organised as part of European Heritage Days 2025 by the French embassy and Sawasdee France, this cultural initiative will offer a unique opportunity to experience Bangkok from two angles — its timeless heritage and its bold contemporary creativity — while celebrating cultural ties between Thailand and Europe.

The event comprises two major parts. From Sept 15-19, Thai and European street artists will be creating large-scale murals in different iconic neighbourhoods such as Charoen Krung, Talat Noi, South Sathon, Surawong and Lumpini. Residents, visitors and tourists will be able to watch these artworks take shape day after day.
