Air force rejects claim it bombed civilians

Thai authorities have firmly denied Cambodian media reports claiming that a Thai military aircraft dropped a bomb ona civilian area in Cambodia.
Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) spokesperson AM Prapas Sornchai-dee rejected The Phnom Penh Post's claims, asserting that the bomb in question, allegedly an MK-84, could not have been dropped in recent Thai airstrikes.
“The bomb appeared old and heavily rusted, suggesting it had been buried for a while before being dug up. It’s impossible that the bomb was dropped during Thailand’s recent air operations,” AM Prapas affirmed.
“The RTAF’s bombs are in perfect condition. None of them is rusty like that.”
