Activists demand appeal in Thaksin case

Around 30 members of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) and the Dharma Army yesterday gathered at the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) on Chaeng Watthana Road to demand that it appeal Thaksin Shinawatra’s acquittal in the lese majeste case against him.
The case, involving alleged violations of Section 112 of the Criminal Code (lese majeste) and the Computer Crime Act BE 2550, was dismissed by the Criminal Court on Aug 22.
