Mastplan will be eyesore

Dear Editor, Having just returned from a holiday abroad I found out about the proposals to site 4 Masts with wifi extenders along the cinder path on the Low Green.

- John Ferguson

I am now aware that the consultation period ended in December 2024 - but, as usual, SAC do not properly inform the public of any of these types of consultation in the hope that they have little or no responses - which they generally achieve. Living right by the Low Green I would have thought that all those houses adjacent to the Low Green would have been informed of the plans. Full democracy does not exist here. Give the people a real chance to air their views.

I have absolutely no objections to wifi being made available on a Public Network in the area proposed.

However, I do object to these masts being placed along the cinder path (or adjacent to same).

They will be an eyesore to all who visit the area. There is no indication, that I can find, of the type of structure - is it a straight pole or a clunky meccano type of structure?
