Airdrie MSP welcomes £1.8m funding support given to arts and cultural festivals

Airdrie & Shotts MSP Neil Gray has welcomed the announcement of £1.8 miillion in funding support for arts and cultural festivals across Scotland.

The petition says this will be to “put the spotlight on artistic talent” throughout the country, including in his constituency.
The Expanded Festivals Fund, announced by Culture Secretary Angus Robertson, is available to nonprofit arts and cultural festivals across Scotland.
The grants will help festivals to enhance their reputation and to develop skills in local areas.
