A sex racket operating from Jalpari Complex on the busy Narol-Isanpur highway was busted by the crime branch's Special Operations Group on Wednesday night, with one woman arrested while her male partner managed to flee during the raid.

Acting on a tip-off, SOG raided three shops that had been converted into hotel-like rooms and rescued four women, including suspected Bangladeshi nationals. The arrested woman, Riya Thakur, was managing the operation from a reception counter. Her partner, Gopal alias Subhansingh Baghel, is absconding.
