Public worship prioritised over hereditary privilege; court says no family can bar pilgrims as lakhs visit during Navratri
The Gujarat High Court has ended the longstanding exclusive privileges claimed by the erstwhile royal family of Danta over the Arasuri Ambaji Temple at Danta in Banaskantha district, ruling that the former royals can no longer claim ownership or special rights to exclude pilgrims during sacred rituals.
