Police detained five people who broke into Palladium mall on SG Highway on Saturday afternoon and destroyed Christmas decorations. The incident has put the entire city on alert with New Year celebrations just four days away.

It’s the first time in years that fringe elements have vandalised Christmas-related displays in the city. Police have issued stern warnings and rolled out extensive measures across Ahmedabad.
