Lynagh lets rip with stunning try double

LOUIS Lynagh, just 23 and still with a big future, returned to form and prominence with a decisive brace of first-half tries as Quins marched into the round of 16 with a seven-try demolition of Ulster.
A big knee injury and then simply the challenge of getting a run of games in Quins’ star-studded back division has thwarted Lynagh’s progress a little but after being called into the matchday 23 late on yesterday and then replacing Oscar Beard early on, he seized the chance to make up for lost time.
It was 7-7 after the first quarter – tries from Nick David for Quins and Ulster’s David McCann – when Lynagh changed the course of the game with a brilliant try from deep.
