SEVERE restrictions on private driving in urban areas are now being imposed across Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum empire.

Dublin and Paris are among the cities recently announcing restrictions on private vehicles entering city centres.

West Yorkshire, it would appear, has plans to go a step further and completely phase out all travel by private vehicle. The smoking gun is one of the election pledges made by Labour mayor Tracy Brabin, in the previous election in 2021.
