1.6 million facing water fluoridation

Treatment is thought to be causing illnesses and lowering IQ
THE water supply in the north-east of England is under attack, and the region's residents must fight back.
Many people in the North East still don't realise it, but a long-threatened day is now here: the Government has launched a public consultation on fluoridation of the region's drinking water.
This is the water, treated and supplied by Northumbrian Water, that should be potable, wholesome and health-giving. Instead, it will become poisonous through the addition of toxic fluoridating acid, a form of hazardous industrial waste, according to campaigners from the Fluoride Free Alliance UK (FFAUK).
The campaign, led by Joy Warren, who has been opposing water fluoridation since graduating with a degree in Environmental Science in 2002, is urging residents to learn about the dangers inherent in this government proposal, and to do everything in their power to stop it.
