Educating the girl child is central to the Viksit Bharat vision, with government initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, started in 2015; Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, launched in 2018; and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 promoting gender equity and improving access to education.
Visionary educators and social workers like Safeena Husain have been dedicated to the cause of the girl child and are contributing to the government's larger vision for a developed India by 2047.
