Sustainability is more than just a checkbox for Mercedes-Benz. The German automaker put firm sustainability targets in place for its designers, engineers and suppliers as the company created its battery-electric GLC.
This GLC 400 4MATIC with EQ Technology delivers a two-thirds reduction in carbon footprint across its entire lifecycle compared to the current-generation gas-powered GLC.
That said, the vehicle doesn't compromise on luxury, performance or aesthetics in its pursuit to be the most sustainable Mercedes to date.For those reasons, Mercedes-Benz is the winner of Newsweek's World's Greatest Auto Disruptors Sustainability Disruptor of the Year award.
