January 2026

When GEORGIA MOR moved here from Australia in 2018, she didn't envisage starting an organisation to help keep the island's streets and beaches clean. Today, One Planet Singapore has collected close to twenty tonnes of trash and counting! We find out more.

A Community That's Cleaning Up!

What's the One Planet mission?

Our tagline is: “It's not my trash, but it's my planet” - and I think it sums up our mission really well. We get together to pick up trash, whether it's in our neighbourhoods or on our beaches. I like to think that we can all do something to make our world a little better.

What is your role in the organisation?

I'm the founder, and I am a team of one. I organise our cleanups, do our social media, keep track of our results, sort out the equipment and have attended all 175 of our cleanups (except for one when I had COVID!).
