SINCE being established in west London in 2014, James Barclay has worked with clients all over the country to bring rugs and carpets to life. These range from much-loved antiques that have been in a client's family for generations to pieces that have been acquired at auction. In both cases, the company offers its deep experience of working with antique rugs to ensure that they fulfil their potential and have the capacity to bring pleasure to further generations. This summer, James Barclay has launched a showroom in London's West End to which it invites customers on an appointment basis, so they can see the unique opportunities it can create. This is especially useful now that antique rugs are now a sought-after ingredient in both classic and contemporary interiors, as the company's Andrew Miller explains.
