This Tiruchirappalli home by YellowSub Studio is a dreamscape of soaring spaces, golden light and air that appears to defy gravity
The living room is a slow exhale of dreamy forms, grounded by a curved sofa and sculptural coffee and side tables from LifeSpace Home, and pendant lights from Nexus Lighting that float like art.
The dining room feels like a serene reverie with a LifeSpace Home table and chairs, a sculptural pendant from Nexus Lighting and walls and ceilings wrapped in the soft embrace of lime plaster by Studio Allure. From the undulating crimson wall sculpture and intricate lattice panel to the console, sofa, armchairs and end tables, the living room is a living library of Gayatri's creations, all crafted in her very own atelier, LifeSpace Home. The rug is from Vishvesh Textiles, while the lighting is by Nexus Lighting Most nights, architect Gayatri Gunjal drifts into a recurring dream, floating high amidst the clouds. In that quiet, suspended world, the edges of reality blur: city streets shrink below her, buildings dissolve into mist, and all that remains is light, air and an unshakeable sense of freedom. It is a space where ideas take shape before they exist on paper, where structures breathe and move, and where the founder and principal of Chennai-based YellowSub Studio feels both weightless and grounded, as if the sky itself is guiding her hand.Dit verhaal komt uit de November 2025-editie van Livingetc India.
