Distinctive with its predominantly grey colour palette and use of artistic décor elements, this 13,200 sq ft duplex home in Hyderabad has been crafted by Vasundhara Sampath of Phylosophy Design Studio. Shruthi and Girish Mallpani, a fun-loving couple with two energetic boys, envisioned a home that would reflect their vibrant and outgoing personalities. They love to entertain and wanted their new home to be a unique space where their playful spirit could shine through. Embracing the opportunity for creativity, they encouraged Vasundhara to experiment with edgy elements that had never been done before. Open to suggestions and eager for innovation, the couple’s primary desire was for the home to have open areas with a bold, contemporary look. Their journey with Phylosophy Design Studio began through social connections, having previously admired the work done for Shruthi’s friends and Vasundhara says, “After working on the house together Shruthi has truly become a dear friend of mine.”
