Does Earth alone harbor life? Given the number of planets being discovered across the universe, scientists say, "Not likely." Life may well be abundant across the cosmos. But what about here in our solar system? No signs of life have emerged on our own Moon. Nor have robotic missions to Mars yet turned up signs of current or past life. But other bodies within our neighborhood beckon with titillating signals from the cold realms of Jupiter and Saturn.
