After decades in the beauty industry, I've pared down my beauty bag to only the essential multi-purpose items. If I don't have what I need, I get creative. I recently went to a wedding and forgot to apply body moisturizer (it happens to me too!). All I had was lip gloss, so I decided to try putting some on my legs, and they instantly felt hydrated.
