Tetra Pak has showcased a state-of-the-art Rotary Moulder at the Indian Ice-cream Expo, 2025. What is the specialization of this Rotary Moulder?

A Rotary Moulder is used to produce items like candy, chocolate bars, and ice cream bars. The Tetra Pak Rotary Moulder specializes in high-capacity production, ranging from 12,000 to 18,000 pieces per hour and can go up to 35,000 pieces per hour.

This machine can produce a variety of candies and twisted products. Its key advantage lies in its high level of hygiene and strong focus on food safety and machine safety. It handles delicate products like ice cream gently, ensuring the desired look and feel remain intact during molding and wrapping.

Previously, this machine was imported from Tetra Pak's parent company in Denmark. Now, it is manufactured locally in India, aligning with the government's Make in India initiative and enabling local service support. As you're aware, honourable Prime Minister Modi ji always emphasizes the importance of local manufacturing; we are fully committed to this vision at Tetra Pak too.

What's the role of a homogenizer that makes it so critical?

When we talk about pasteurized and homogenized milk, homogenization refers to breaking down large particles into smaller ones to achieve a smooth mouthfeel. This machine is used across multiple applications-dairy, beverages, and ice cream.
