Clever Chocolate Treats

These desserts taste as good as they look.

CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRY TURKEYS

1. In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave ½ cup (85 g.) semisweet chocolate chips in 10-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth, about 30 seconds total. 2. Lift leaves by twisting up each top of 1 qt. large strawberries, rinsed, dried. Spear leaf end of strawberries with a fork or toothpick. 3. Break 16 mini pretzel rods in half. Spear 2 mini marshmallows on one end of each half rod. Using kitchen shears, trim marshmallow ends to create an oval shape. Dab marshmallows in some melted chocolate. On the pointy end of strawberry, attach 2 half rods on opposite sides. 4. Using shears, cut 16 mini marshmallows in half diagonally. Dab cut sides in melted chocolate, then attach to opposite top sides of strawberry. Let sit until set, about 5 minutes. 5. Using fork or toothpick, dip strawberries into chocolate up to base of leaves, letting excess drip off. Arrange strawberry turkeys on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
