Dig out your clue notebooks and get ready to meet Christmas Cracker, Nutcracker, Star and Turkey Crown as ITV1’s hit guessing game The Masked Singer returns for another seasonal spectacular.

Host Joel Dommett is back to oversee proceedings as celebrity detectives Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross try to fathom which famous faces are hidden inside this year’s festive costumes. Helping them are two guest panellists: comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.

‘French and Saunders on the show is really special because they haven’t done anything together for quite a while,’ enthuses Joel, 39. ‘Just seeing them together is mad for me, because I spent so much of my childhood watching them on TV!’

The collection of masked characters will be serenading the panel and studio audience with a host of holiday classics, including Sleigh Ride, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Driving Home for Christmas.
