Now that April is home, Marlon wants to keep her safe and away from the horror she experienced on the streets. So he's far from happy when Dylan - the drug addict she shared a squat with rocks up in the village.
Things are already tense at Smithy before Dylan's arrival. 'Marlon is terrified of losing April again,' explains Mark Charnock, who plays the despondent dad. 'On some level, he feels that what happened to her is his fault."
