When the Wimbledon Wheelchair Championships get under way at the All England Lawn Tennis Club this week, Andy Stevenson already knows which player he'll be watching out for: British star Alfie Hewett, whose previous Grand Slam success comprises 10 men's singles and 24 men's doubles titles.

'What Alfie has achieved is amazing,' says the BBC commentator and reporter, as he joins TV Times for an exclusive chat ahead of spearheading coverage of the wheelchair tournament for the fourth year running.

'His achievements probably don't get the recognition they deserve." The matches begin this Tuesday, with the finals set to take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July.

Here, Andy, who was born with no hands and wears an artificial leg, reveals why he loves being at the centre of the action...

How excited are you to be back at SW19?

It's one of the highlights of my year, commentating on the first week of Wimbledon Iplay began on Monday 29 June] and then presenting the latter stages of the wheelchair tennis. Walking in on that first Monday morning when everything is pristine is wonderful It's such a beautiful place to work and the profile of the wheelchair events is getting bigger every year there is a buzz in the air!
