Directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo of Avengers: Endgame fame, the film is based on Simon Stålenhag's 2018 graphic novel and follows the aftermath of a catastrophic war between sentient robots and humanity, in which teenager Michelle (Brown) lost her entire family.
