Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin return as a bickering mother-and-son duo in the legal comedy drama

There’s good and bad news for fans of US legal comedy drama So Help Me Todd – this week, a second season begins on Alibi, but it will be the last run of the show, following its cancellation in April.

At the end of the first series, attorney Margaret Wright (The Morning Show’s Marcia Gay Harden) and her son, private investigator Todd (Grey’s Anatomy’s Skylar Astin), were facing mixed fortunes. She’d been promoted to partner in her Portland, Oregon, law firm and he’d regained his PI licence.
