Britain take on Germany in a thrilling ride of strength and speed

Bobsleigh isn't a sport for the faint-hearted as Team GB athletes can attest as they prepare to hurtle down the perilous iced turns of Cortina's new sliding centre at speeds of up to 140kmh.

As the bob events begin on 15 February, former shot-putter Adelé Nicoll is first up as she becomes the first British woman to compete in the monobob (which debuted in 2022), having recently claimed her best World Cup finish.
