Riya Releases Vibrant Video for New Song 'Permission'

The U.K.-based singer-songwriter shot the colorful visuals in New Delhi

ALTHOUGH SINGER-SONGWRITER RIYA WAS born in India, she moved to the U.K. at the age of two. Since then, she grew up around pop and Bollywood music while also gaining exposure to opera and classical theater. Riya also picked up dancing, which according to her helped her understand stage presence from an early age. The artist has released four singles since 2019. She says, "I'm proud to say that all my previous releases have been written and produced independently by me."

Now, Riya is out with a brand-new track called "Permission" and has also released a chic music video premiering to accompany the song.
