My journey with sitar started in the year 2014, when I was going through an emotional rough patch of my life. Amidst grief and insecurities, I was searching for meaning of Life and the very essence of my existence. This led me to search for music in my life.
One day I was traveling in Mumbai local while returning from work and was in a deep contemplative mood. I was listening to some music when the idea of Sitar and its soothing music came to my mind. "Can I also learn how to play Sitar? Am I too late in life?" I was thirty three years old then.
Such questions were pondering in my mind when I started looking for Sitar teachers near me on Google. The first website I opened, I left an inquiry about learning Sitar.
