There are rumours circulating that a new HomePod speaker featuring a screen is on the way from Apple any day now... While I think there almost certainly will be a new third-gen HomePod from Apple at some point, the idea that it's imminent? Well, I'd take that with a Cupertino-sized dose of salt. With HomePod, Apple really doesn't seem to follow the same yearly update schedule it does with the iPhone, or even feel the urge to follow any schedule at all.
