THE CROWD WAS BUZZING OVER A MEGAFAMOUS FAN AND A DIVISIVE HALF-TIME SHOW

The biggest sporting event in America took place in New Orleans last week, but the Super Bowl’s celebrity fans and politically charged half-time show almost stole the spotlight.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, ending Travis Kelce’s team’s dream of winning the Super Bowl for the third year running. Die-hard Eagles fan Bradley Cooper was at the Caesars Superdome to cheer his players to victory, but it was a disappointing night for Taylor Swift and Paul Rudd’s Kansas team.

As usual, the half-time entertainment commanded just as much attention as the sporting action on the field. Kendrick Lamar, fresh from his five Grammy wins, took to the stage and made history as the first solo hip-hop artist to headline the annual event.
