Kieran Culkin Family face-off!

During the four-season run of the critically acclaimed drama Succession, co-stars and on-screen siblings Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong weren’t often pitted against each other during awards season. Culkin’s turn as vicious and verbose Roman, the youngest of media mogul Logan Roy (Brian Cox), mostly counted in the supporting category, while Strong’s portrayal of troubled eldest heir Kendall won him an Outstanding Lead Actor Emmy in 2020. When both were nominated in the top category for the show’s final season, Culkin beat Strong out for the Emmy and the Golden Globe in 2024. Now the show has wrapped, the pair are still in competition.

imageCulkin, 42, and Strong, 46, each scored Oscar nominations in the Best Supporting Actor category: Culkin for his role in Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain and Strong for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice.

Nominated for those same roles at this year’s Golden Globes, it was Culkin who won the trophy, but there appeared to be no hard feelings, with the pair spied hugging it out during a commercial break. However, there have been hints of tension.
