With just as much player talent in the stands as on the court, it was hard for tennis fans to know where to look when Carlos Alcaraz competed in London at the 2025 Queen’s Club Championships on June 21. But following the match, the handsome Spanish star let Emma Raducanu know how much he appreciated her support after the British athlete had cheered him on from the balcony with a big smile on her face.

“I am just glad that she came to support me, to watch my match,” he said. “Yeah, I think it was great having her in the stands.”

While the pair have been mates since they rose up through the ranks together in 2021, tongues in the tennis world are now wagging over the possibility their friendship has turned romantic.

“Emma and Carlos’ friendship was the talk of Queen’s - people think there is something going on between them because they have such a spark,” a source told British newspaper
