Despite creating a bond on the set of cult classic horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer back in 1997, it took Gellar and Prinze a few years to realise there was something more between them. The pair ended up on an unexpected date after a fellow friend was unable to make the meet-up and sparks flew. But there were definitely a few sceptics before they married in Mexico in 2002.

“So you're going to marry Sarah Michelle Gellar, even though you know that won't last?” Prinze was asked during an interview on The Howard Stern Show at the time. “Oh, absolutely it will last,” Prinze replied.

Two kids and two decades later, Gellar made sure to give it to the radio show host when celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in 2022. “What do you think? I think you owe us,” she wrote on social media, tagging the shock jock.

So what's their secret? “Take the 10 minutes - put the phone down. Have a cup of coffee together. Walk the dog at the end of the night,” Gellar has told People magazine.
