For chef Nancy Silverton, food is all about connection. “My own love of food grew out of the nightly meals I had with my family, where my dad, mom, sister and I would sit around the dinner table and rehash our day,” recalls the famed restaurateur and author of The Cookie That Changed My Life, available on Nov. 14. Here, the California native sits down at her Michelin-starred Italian eatery, Osteria Mozza, in L.A. with chef Judy Joo to talk about her illustrious career, where she finds inspiration and her preferred pizza topping.
