GEEZER Danny Glover was secretly treated at a clinic in Croatia where patients have received controversial stem cell therapies that are illegal in America, tipsters dish.

Shocking photos show the weary Lethal Weapon legend, 76, on a gurney at Poliderma Polyclinic in Zagreb.

The facility performs cosmetic procedures and says personnel also practice "regenerative medicine," which involves "systemic intravenous rejuvenation with stem cells."

Stem cells, or master cells, have the ability to develop into any type of cell including nerve, muscle, and brain. Some scientists believe they can also cure devastating conditions, such as paralysis and Parkinson's disease.

But stem cells are also fraught with controversy as they're often harvested from unused embryos donated to science.
